Why have all those payments? That's just asking for stress. I think I've spent a grand total of $50 in the past 3 months combined, including gas and food, and $35 of that was gas, which I used a gas card I got for christmas with, so it cost me nothing. I don't remember what stress felt like.

That's $5/month for food. You either live with your parents or you hijacked the local McDonald's. ...for 3 months...

I know it's very un-American of me to say this, but there is great stress relief to be had in building up some cash and investing it in liquid assets, and not just spending it. It's there if I need it.

For those of us that have to support ourselves in the real world, bills can get stressful, especially if you own your business and things are slow.

On that note, I have found a lot of stress relief in building up an (albeit small) pile of cash, then investing it in very liquid assets. You are therefore prepared for something to come up, and you aren't just sitting on a pile of cash that isn't invested.

damon, I PM'ed you.

I do get stressed right now. I used to live with the thought " if I can't buy it with cash I dont need it." I used to buy everything including cars with straight cash. then I started thinking about the future and house and blah blah so I tried to get credit anyway I could. lol, not the best idea but i am finally getting credit and Im working on leveling out my debt right now. its not fun with all the bills but its doable.

I dont have a project right now, I have a sweet paperweight outside my house. still paying bills before I can start. Im still just enjoying the bike
