An RB26 is the skyline engine and he is kidding with you. The displacement on the 3sgte is lower but hey, it's a turbo engine
As for engine sites: rimsandthing.com chicoraceworks.com osakamotors.com JDMsource.com Just to name a few |

Stay away from the 3SFE Do not confuse this engine with the 3SGTE
The 5SFE is 2.2L the 3SFE is 2.0 and the 3SGTE is 2.0 as well. The 3SFE is a SLOW (slower than the 5S) worthless engine. You will often find them on ebay as a 'replacement' for your 5SFE, do not use this engine. 5SFEs are pretty common, it should not be hard to find a replacement, try a junkyard (camry) Information on swapping from auto to manual: http://www.mr2board.com/forums/na-5s...nual-swap.html Ask any questions you have on it there. If you are looking for power without as much headache as doing a v6 swap (check our v6 section for info) you can simply swap in the other stock MR2 engine which is the 3SGTE which is Turbo and starts off at around 200HP stock. Ask any questions you have on the 3SGTE in the turbo section. Welcome to the board. ![]() |

Hello and welcome.
![]() The 5-speeds that work are the stock ones that come with the 3sgte and the 5sfe. I'm pretty sure you need axles. If your motor is junk anyways, I'd really recommend getting a complete rear clip and swapping to the 3sgte, if you have the money and enjoy the power. |

There should be tons of info on those subjects. Do a couple searches, learn what you can, and ask questions about the rest.
