Lilly w/KO Racing

Hey everyone,

Lilly here; I am married to the CEO/President/founder of KO Racing (that would be Kris). We here at KO Racing (it also includes James (acylon)) are please to be a part of MR2board.
Let me tell you a few things about Kris (i know its suppose to be about me, but he's more interesting), for those that don't know him. Kris has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from OSU. Our products are designed and tested by him. In 2002 he got a job with Freightliner (as a Design Engineer). While working full-time for Freightliner, Kris decided to start a business working out of our garage (it all started with the downpipes). We worked out of the garage for almost 4 years, (it was very packed with all the tools/fixtures etc). As of March. 2006 we moved into a shop in Tualatin, OR. I will be the first to say thank god for that.. Now we have our house back.. As of July 8th 2006 Kris will be no longer working at Freightliner, he will be working full-time for KO Racing!!!

As for me, I do most of the office stuff (boring as it is); I also work in the shop area with the guys. I don't work on the cars, but I do make exhausts/dps etc...One of my goals is to learn to tig weld.

We provide A # 1 customer service almost 24/7 (I say "almost" cause we have to sleep

). You should be seeing Kris on these boards more, then in the past. We are glad to be here and able to serve the MR2 community with truly great products.. Thanks for letting us be a sponsor of the MR2board. WE are here Mon-Fri. 9am until we leave (also here on the weekends).. We will be at the Medford meet with some nice goodies for someone to win...can't wait..

Grats to Kris for going full time. I bet you're both excited about that. Kudos to you for being so supportive; I'm sure he couldn't have gotten anywhere near as far as he has without you.

Lilly nice to see you one here. I am Craig from the workshop group, check us out in the local section. I have spoken with kris a number of times on the phoen over the past 5 years I have owned my turbo. He is truely a pioneer. That being said I think there are 2 great forces in the northwest that could use eachothers help. Zai (Zaimoua) Has done alot of wonderful things for this community too at the local level as well as spilled his Toyota Master tech mind onto the board and shared many of his dreams on here too. Without Zai my car would be on jackstands in my garage to this day. I would love for your great company to come check out some of the things going on at the shop, I think you would both be suprised. Kris graduated from OSU huh, Go BEAVS National Champs! I am currently a junior there. Well I hope business is booming.
