Hello from Ohio!

My name is Kevin Payne. I am a 30 year old husband and father of a two-year-old.

My current plans to move up in the world from a 1993 Miata to an SW20 are temporarily on hold because I finished school (7-12 Social Studies teacher) but couldn't find a job. So I'm still in the family business, but my car loan $ is going to student loans.

Still, I figured I would get on here and make some friends for the future. I have posted on mr2oc a time or two if my screen name looks familiar. Anyway, Hi!

Danville, Ohio, a very small town about an hour northeast of Columbus. My two-year-old is the best thing that ever happened to me, but he's a handful. That, and kids tend to cut into auto fun expenditures and spouses' willingness to accept two seaters. I'm still fighting the good fight, though.

Try not to flame me on the next one, but I may have to bug one of you before the buying process starts next year for a ride in a 2. I don't consider myself to be one of those dumb kids that decides to buy one before they ride in one and then can't live with it. I know what I want, and the 2 will provide it. I consider my Miata to be a practical car, so the few things in an mr2 that some might consider vices like rearward vision, interior space, and a stiffer-than-a-camry supension are plusses for me. Oh, well, I see many future hours staring at this and mr2oc, autotrader, ebay, and the like in my near future. Well met!
