Toronto area 1988 MR2 Supercharged parts-donor car

Hi fellas,

- A chum passed away a couple years back and his '88 Supercharged that's been sitting since and is now available for sale. .

It has rust and would need a lot of work to hit the road again or may be best as a parts-donor car? . Can you bolt these Supercharged motors into a Corolla or? .

Not sure what was optional on these but it is Supercharged w/ a 5-Speed, dark blue w/ glass T-Roof and factory alum rims? Has what looks like an almost new set of 4 Michelin X rated tires?

The engine starts and seems to run Ok but I had to cut the accessory belts to get it running as something is seized? . I only ran it for a minute or so at a time without the waterpump operating but it does move back and forth Ok and there is brakes. .


I'm not a MR2 guy but just helping my friend's family deal w/ the vehicle situation and thought I'd try to find the enthusists before it hits the Trader. .

The car is in Peterboro' Ontario about an hour or so N-East of Toronto. .
Price is $1500.00 Obo for the whole car, not parting out. .
