Hello

Phoenixr2 referred me to this board. I am continually on our local board and decided to join here as well.

I have a 1993 Turbo MR2 with a couple items changed out so far. My large upgrade purchase is going to be happening this March though. At this point I have an intake, boost controller, Carbon Fiber Border style hood, upgraded stereo components, front strut tower brace, and that's about it.

Yeah the paint in the 2nd pic is right after 2 hours worth of waxing which is why it looks so nice there, and I think the other 2 had the gamma and balance adjusted too high as well.

My car is going to be getting spoiled, turbo kit, exhaust, dp, IC, JDM ECU, KO fan shroud, and a couple other items are planned. The car is well maintained but definitely needs a paint job. I am approaching the 160,000 mile mark and it still runs great, but the stock turbo is bowing out. AFter I have my performance items done it will be getting a new paint job, but since I am married and have 2 children my mods are limited to about 1 per year.

Thanks. Yes I love the MR2, had a 88 that I still drive, have had this car for 7 years, it was great in stock form, and it's even more fun with some tweaks.

how long have you owned or been around MR2's?

I have owned or been around MR2's for 11 years now. Got my first one as my first car in high school (the blue 88), went through a couple engines (oil cooler ruptured on the interstate and the engine blew, flames and all, then a spun rod bearing cause I got sold a bunk engine, then a good engine) and then I bought this beauty after looking for one for a year. I love MR2's and will never get rid of this one.
