Hi everyone:
I have a 1991 mr2 turbo imported from San Antonio, Texas.
I always involved in fast cars and used to go to races and car shows every now and then. I bought a magazine where I found an MR2 (owned by ncturnal) that caught my interest right away. Next thing I know I started researching about MR2's and finally bought one a year ago. Still doesn't look like the one in the magazine but I'm getting there. Takes a lot of time and money to get it the way I want it.

Greddy Intercooler
Apex turbo timer
greddy blow off valve
Ventilated drum disk
Timing belt replaced
All oil seals replaced
Water, Oil pump replaced
Iridium spark plugs
new clutch line from twosrus.com
new shocks
1994 factory wheels
turbo manifold and downpipe from ssauto chrome
hose from hell replaced
New Factory clutch
aftermarket radio with 4 5 1/4 in speakes
Insulation from bquiet.com
Thats all I remember so far. I think there is something missing.

My future plans for the car is to upgrade the turbo, bodykit, paint job, upgrade the sound system, new wheels.

Getting a car from the states its easy to send and it cost you about 1,000 dollars. The headache is when the car arrive to the island, you have to pay the local tax for the appraisal of the vehicle, which in my case cost me about 800 dollars.

If I had it to do over, I'd certainly do a lot of stuff differently. There's a lot of experience here, so you should be able to learn a lot. If you get a chance, put your pin on the map. I think you are our first member from Puerto Rico.

Ncturnal It is an honor for me chat with you. I got my car from Autotrader.com and I'm not complaining but I should have done things differently because the car didn't have any negative records but once I had it I had to work on it to get it running decently. I'm still working on it. I'm very compulsive with cars and I hate unknown noises (that annoys me).
