better check in, g'day!
hi there all, most of you here probably know me already. names John and i'm a aw11 freak. love em. i bought my 1st aw11 (called the 'feral') in april 1995 and still flogg around in it. i've driven it basical right around Oz and a west to east coast and east to west coast and back trip. it's seem some hard k's, hard times and hard modifications (all done by myself).
just last saturday i bought myself a clean factory 4agze hartop with auto transmission. very comfy to drive and deffinatly no slouch with the auto, i'm digging it! a little of me... i'm a self taught fibreglasser, did audio install for 8 years and currently work in a underground mine (nearly 6 years on and off). grew up on a farm and worked on engines etc from a young age. i do all my own mechanics, bodywork etc. just dont ask me to change a tyre on a rim. got prity ill back in 99 with kidney failure, spent some time in a comma and luckily came out of it and spent time on dialysis and got me a transplant on 27th December 2001. having the feral kept my mind focused in the bad times and gave me a hobby/something to do. with-out it, i might not be here today! aw11's are that good. enough dribble and some pics, the feral 1st. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() got a little stereo in it ![]() on Mt Glorious, out of Brisbane Queensland. ![]() ![]() ![]() you'll find 'some' vid clips of the feral here: http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=feral4mr2 some pics of my last east to west and back roadtrip: (read past the dribble). http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.p...t=0#msg_564050 and here is the new 2 i bought. i havnt got a name yet, it's the feral's lil sister, might call it the lil feral... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() as with any car, pics do it better justice than up close in person. good base for a twincharge. (or V6 later down the track...) and to show you i am a turbo fan, check out what i did to my little 4wd..... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/657917/4 i also like beer. ![]() YO! |

Very nice. Kind of upset though...I was thinking today about what I wanted to do with my headlights and got it all maped out just to see you have exactly what I was thinking about. Same exact thing. What did you use to make it? I was thinkin about Integra headlights.

That is how I was thinking of setting it up. I'm happy to find out I was on the right track and now have a model to follow. About how long did it take you to do that setup? Thanks for the info!
