My name is Jesse I decided to take Ncturnal's advice and check out the sight. I am not at all new to MR2's, I have owned mine for ten years. I have been on nearly every MR2 forum since the MR2 Digest in 1997.

I drive a Nautical Blue 1992 MR2 Turbo. It has a J-Spec 2nd Gen 3S-GTE in it. There are a ton of photos and history about my car "The Archangel" here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2060345

For those that may not know, Jesse was the producer of the MR2DIE4 and Apotheosis videos several years ago. A true MR2 enthusiast who has put a lot of heart and soul into his hobby. He's a great guy to be friends with. Welcome Jesse. I'm glad you finally made it over.

I don't know about the whole presence of greatness thing

I'm just some guy who has had an obsession with the MR2 since the first time I saw one and was fortunate enough to have some media skills (and work at a post production house) to share my perspective on the MR2. Making those films were some good times, I mean to get a chance to fly all over the US and ride in hundreds of MR2's was a dream come true.

I think my only real complaint with the MR2 is that it doesn't have a magic glove box that fills with money so I can keep modifying the car.

I like the gallery feature on this site, there are some great looking cars on this site, I was seriously impressed.
I set up my gallery with a few recent pictures last night. I don't have any great engine bay pictures because my engine bay certainly doesn't look all bling, bling. I got to get the valve cover painted and some other dress up stuff, it's just all business now. I have a long way to go before I can compete with cars like Ncturnals (or many of the other I saw in the gallery).

Your car looks great man, i'm just not a fan of those wheels. Just my opinion though and its your car not mine so please don't take offense.

I actually want to change out the wheels because the car is simply too low on the 15" with the kit and the huge down-pipe coming off the engine. I'm looking to get a set of 17's but like I was saying about the magic glove box full of money... ahhh yeah $1,000 dollars for wheels/tires is a little out of my reach right now; so I am kinda stuck for now (I gotta support my family too).
Those wheels on there now have been on there since 1996 or 1997, that was one of my first mods.

One thing at a time I guess. If anyone on the east coast is looking to purge a set of 17's with tires real cheap let me know and hopefully I can find a way to get the car upgraded.
