Hey There!
Hey, i'm new here.. just stopping in to say hi. Currently drive a 2002 Celica GT-S. I originally wanted a SW20. I've actually wanted one since I was about 12 years old haha. I'm 23 now, so i'm looking to possibly buy an N/A model in good condition and do a GEN3 swap. I'm going to be reading the forums for advice.

NA cars had smaller brakes, a different tranny. There'll be more wiring to do.
Some others who've done the swap will know more ![]() |

difference in parts, the 3rd gen has some parts that you can't get here unless you order through japan and have to wait a little while to recieve it. Just make sure you source some extra parts before you do the swap.

Do a search on the Gen3, there should be a few big threads. There are tradeoffs to everything. I personally LOVE my Gen3, and I really would not want anything else. It responds so quickly, and runs so smoothly. It really feels like it has more power than it does. I don't know how to explain it other than that it's awesome... And I think I need to change my tagline under my avatar to "Gen3 Fanboy."
