I was wondering if when I pull my axles to swap them would the trans fluid leak out? if so, just a few drips; or all the fluid?

if you pull the stubshafts the fluid will leak out like a mofo.... would be wise to drain the trans and remove the stubshafts but can avoid removing the stubshafts if you unbolt the axles from the stubshafts while still in the car.

this isn't the thread for brake upgrading but i do have everything to convert a NA to turbo brakes (91 or 93 style)

so do your axles not come with stub shafts?

If I bought the new hd axles will they work with lsd trans or would I have to get my own stubs?

the axles do not come with stubshafts... only the axles themselves.

i do sell stubshafts seperatly if i have them available or can get them new for about $600 for the pair

do you offer any machine work to make non lsd to lsd stubs? maybe a cheaper route....

yes we do machine the stubshafts for LSD applications. cost is $70 per side + shipping

Do you have driveshafts for a mk1.5 swap? I have some celica st165 axles already, but im missing a driveshaft.

The st165 axles are too long for a mk1.5. Right now i don't have any extra stubshafts available.... Can get them new

Can you please confirm if the CRW HD Remanufactured Axles are factory Toyota axles with CRW HD joints?

Also, is the special price still in effect?

yes... these are toyota axles with the CRW HD joints.... we have had some issues with the other bars we were using for the new axles so have discontinued those for now until some new, better shafts are made up.

So I would essentially get the same result if I purchase the CRW axle cages (for the inner joint)? I assume your remanufactured axles use the toyota factory outer joints?

Are the axle cages still on sale for $225 shipped?

on our remans we tear apart the entire axle and inspect everything and replace as needed. 9 times out of 10 the outer joint is still good and doesn't need replaced so it gets regreased and rebooted.... then the inner joint receives the HD treatment same as what the HD CV kit would be.

price for the CRW HD CV kit is $250 + shipping. sale expired quite a while ago but $250 is still an awesome deal for everything you get.

well... a introductory price i don't think would run on for a year.... right? if it was maybe a month or so out of expiration (so to speak) it'd be one thing... but a year? killin me here.

but the introductory price was supposed to only be for 30 days but someone (OP) must have forgotten to put that in there... or i may have forgotten to tell him... or.... but still... a year later lol
