Lots of reading and trial and error.
Ill be comparing maps with other people who have similar mods, and fine tuning what they have already. You cant put someone elses map on your car and just go, but you can put it on there, find the dead/bad spots, tune them out, and fine tune it to your car. Theres plenty of 3SGTE guys who have powerFCs, theres even several gen2 guys running them. Shouldnt be TOO hard to find support for it. Thats what I hope for anyway. Need a wideband first tho... I wont even install the PFC till I get my wideband. |

nice. If I can just put someone else's map onto it then I may try just doing that and having someone else fine tune it (I have a friend that's pretty good with power FC but wouldn't know enough to get a base map probably). How hard are they to tune?

If you have a FC Datalogit its not TOO hard, but you have to read up about what things do.
Theres an awesome writeup on newcelica.org for their PFC, but it doesnt totally pertain to ours, but it does explain quite a few things. |

Josh- don't worry about that MAP yet. I will need it eventually, but there is no way I can afford it right now.
Thanks for the ECU. |
