Wrong Knock Sensor

I sent you a pm but i just wanted to get this anywhere you would look
The knock sensor you sent was the wrong one.

sorry this is a bad picture my camera didnt want to focus right
the original is on the left, the one you sent me is on the right, you can see the one you sent has a smaller opening

please get back to me asap

that's why i needed to know what year engine you had in there so i could get you the correct part.

anyways... send that one back just whatever cheap way you can and email me your mailing addy again and i'll get another one up to you

I had stated the year and model in the paypal description. 1991 turbo 3sgte

exactly. and you got a knock sensor for a 91 mr2 turbo/3sgte. the one you have pictured there is for a 1993+ 3sgte

round connection = 91/92
D connection = 93+

i have worked with these cars for about 10 years so i think i ought to know what knock sensor fits hat year. someone has either swapped your engine and knock sensor or swapped knock sensor and pigtail to the newer style.

it wouldn't be different for the JDM would it?

Also I didn't mean to insult your intelligence I had just assumed you had made a mistake because I didn't think anything had been changed on my car.

it's quite allright... your car was altered and i do have knock sensors for 93+ so other than a slight delay i still got ya covered
