DDR / MR2 Kit Car Video
EDIT: Video now available!
I went to see this car back in...I think... may? of 2006. The car is pretty neat, although it leaves a bit desired in fit and finished, but hey it's a kit car, final touches can be done by those experienced in body and interior work. Also it's a VERY tight fit, at least in the demo model I sat it, at the time I viewed it the doors were not complete and were only a FG / CF shell, not at all protective if you got hit from the side. Otherwise I thought it was a pretty neat car and I would not mind owning one myself, a head turner for sure! If you look at most of the kit cars out there (even though they are V8 powered) but most of them will cost anywhere from 50K on up. So technically, this is still affordable, and plans for an SP8 are still in the pipeline.
Oh! and not to mention, this thing weighs in at less than 2300lbs! with the 3S-GTE and its estimated that with the V8 it will weigh in at around less than 2450lb. Feel free to do the math guys. ___________ The DDR Team DDR Motorsport www.ddrmotorsport.com |

silly question, but does it have AC? and i am still unsure of how this thing is delivered, if i want a 3sgte power plant, do you send me the rolling chasis and i finish the brakes, steering and drive train? the reason i ask is if am going to invest that kind of money i am going to build an engine, i dont want to just do a swap. it doesnt make sense to me to buy a car that looks like a ferrari but runs like a stock toyota...

that thing does look hot, a bit pricey, but I guess for the performance you get, it would be awsome. (esp since you can mod it like an mr2,,,,,)

Out of curiousity, what would it cost to get a DDR SP8 Kit (Rolling Chassis) shipped to Vancouver, Canada?
Does it get registered as a DDR car, or as a kit car?
