FRP=Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic, or Urethane Fronts are the best for that, but dont buy urethane side skirts......EVER!

Hand-laid parts will almost always fit better than choppergun parts. You have much more control over uniformity of thickness and resin ratio. If there are thin and thick parts with varying ratios of resin, this will cause the part to cure at different rates and make it warp.

theres nothing wrong with urethane sides. a lot of factory sides are urethane. its an ideal kit material.

If its for anything other than bumpers, no its not. Unless you are buying oem urethane parts, you are not getting the same material. Products made with *PURE* Urethane like to move a lot while on the car and cause the paint to crack and "spyder" everywhere and look terrible. Oem "urethane" parts are made from a much stronger and stiffer material that is more similar to plastic than urethane -thats why bumper covers are typically a slightly different color from the rest of the car from the factory. Chemical reaction is the basic way to explain it, but it's much more intricate than that.
