uploading pic help needed

I am sorry to need your help, but I do.

I normally use carpron to host pics. But I cannot figure out how to upload there now. I have pics there but in a silly location, never have figured out how to change it. So now I need to upload some pics here in "my garage" for a week or two until I can figure out carpron. But the pics I have are 754k. How can I change the size of the pics? I have not had this problem before and obviously I'm not all that intelligent, so I need the help,,,,please.

Need an image program to either reduce the physical image size or the file size via a loss of quality. Picasa I think can do this, free program by Google.

you dont have to resize with imageshack and photobucket allows pretty big files.
