EVEREST Ultimate

Anybody using this program? I highly recommend torrenting it.

It's made by Lavalys.

It's awesome. It tells you just about anything you want to know about your system. Temps, fan speed, da works. It can be ran in the windows sidebar if you gots vista

I'm running version 4.60. I torrented the latest but it blows goat ass.

There is a free, albeit outdated version of Everest Home edition in the wild. Everest however, no longer has it for download on the website. I use it for checking temperatures inside the actual chipsets when I can't be bothered to restart my PC and look in the Bios. Otherwise, I prefer the much easier wire sensors (six of them) built into the computer case, and leading to an external panel.

I used rainmeter with some plugins to have semi-transparent interface for the monitoring and it had some other features as well. I finally got it how I wanted then windows took a dump and I can't be bothered setting it up again. Sorta waiting for windows 7 before I go modding windows again, it uses less resources than vista and I would probably find a way to change the UI and use that if it is not complete fail. I have a legit version of vista I won't even use it fails so bad.

I would have something like that but I have no need for monitering most things in reality. I use ati tool to measure my gpu temp when overclocking but that's about it. Last time I was playing around with specs and I needed to benchmark against another guys computer the only cpu testing app we had in common was winrar so we used that
