How to set up a dual boot system?

I've got an old Dell laptop with windows XP on it. I want to keep the XP, but also be able to boot windows 95. It has a 40 GB drive and I want to partition 10GB of that for the windows 95 os and programs. I would also like a boot menu at startup so I can choose the os. How the heck do I accomplish this?

wow with windows 95? thats tricky. i have done it with 98 but not 95.just reinstal xp and make a small partition off to the side. note that 95 won't let you access the files in xp. if you used fat maybe but probly not.

I thought 98 was the same as 95. they both use FAT32 file system while XP uses NTFS. I'm only installing 95 because I have programs that aren't NT compatable. Would they run in LINUX?

I had dosbox on a desktop last year. It crashed more than it worked. More trouble than its worth in my opinion. Mixing a program that crashes all the time with the most unstable os of all time doesn't sound fun to me.
