Couple of runs from last night...

It bogged pretty bad off the line every time. I think my street tires are too tall or I wasnt' reving it up enough.

Don't pay attention to the reaction times. This was my first time at the track with this car. I was just trying to figure out how to launch the damn thing!

Not too bad. Its got a lot left in it if I can get it off the line. I should have put on my shorter stock wheels/tires. I might try that next time.

Kept up with an STI.

Your car seems pretty quite inside the cabin.

Yeah, now that you mention it. I don't think its that quiet while driving it. You can hear the A2W water pump running in the trunk, though. It does have a full exhaust including a cat. The cat seems to quiet the exhaust some.

In the second vid you can hear a BOV. Its not mine. Its from the 3000GT I'm running against.

Sounds like a mouse.

From the few times I played around with mine, it launches well at 4.2K. I saw that you let go at less than 4k...

Yea your mods look very similar to mine, and I bog if I dump the clutch less than around 4k. Especially with my 255/40/17s that I put on recently, they're pretty tall compared to stock. I haven't tried many times, but I was getting better launches if I slipped the clutch a bit, letting it out more gradually. Anyways, you improved .5 seconds on your second run, that's huge. Keep it up and it looks like you could hit the low 13's easily.

What were your 60' times?

Yeah, like the mouse keyboard played with hammers on Monty Python's Flying Circus!

I was leaving at about 3k. Worried I'll burn up my new clutch. It slipped once power shifting into 3rd.

On the first run it was 2.461 and 2.25 on the 13.555 run. Looking at the other time slips, that's about the range it was running.

I was also getting wheel hop off the line most of the time. I have the Kirkasaurus mount on the front and rear mounts. Thought that would limit wheel hop, but I still get it.

What elevation were you running at?

Id say your car has alot more in it if you can get that 60' down.

My 13.6 run was at 103 mph with a 2.0 60 ft, supposedly 1.8s are possible in these cars.

yeah with a 2.2 out of these cars you've got some room for improvement

2.14 out of an NA here, the turbo should 60' even better than that... mine just doesn't have the power to 60' any lower
