boost only hit 15 and it continued to drop all the way up to redline.. if it spiked it would have had rougher lines no?

Hmm - I've done some of tuning on Mustang dynos and have found them to be pretty good at replicating real world load conditions. They're accurate enough with their loading that there's no need to do any road tuning to fine tune the work done on the dyno. It's also not uncommon for the curve on a Mustang to be a bit different from a Dynojet - different technologies for getting the numbers.
That said, there are a number of ways the operator can tweak the set-up to change how the dynos read from "Mustang spec". It's actually pretty common for operators to tweak their Mustangs as the numbers from a Mustang generally tend to run low. Personally I'm glad our local operator runs "OE Mustang spec". I'm not familiar with MR2 numbers on a mustang, but stock Evo's generally hit between 190 and 210 whp with a bit more torque. I should be able to grab some "stock" MR2 NA numbers over the winter. |

Your boost gauge could be off. Who knows, you could be running 20 psi in the midrange. :P

i thought that the guys at performance pls had calibrated their mustang dyno to give dynojet type readings so that everyone wouldnt be dissapointed at their low output that mustang dyno's usually give?
