Got back from Dyno Session #1

I went to the dyno today after installing the following mods:

ATS CT27 Turbo
ATS Tuned ROM
ATS Fuel Rail
ATS Cam Gears
HKS 264 Intake Cam
KO 2.5" DP
SPEC Stage II Clutch
Apex-I Intake
TKO 2.5" Exhaust
Blitz SBC-iD Boost Controller
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump

We ran the first run at 13 psi and the second at 15 psi....The power was not bad and the day was pretty hot. I did not go past 15 psi, because it started to run a little lean on the top end. I will get a revised chip based on these dyno graphs and re-dyno up to 16-17 psi. Here are the graphs:

13 psi

15 psi

My boost controller was going into warning mode on the second run. I have it set to drop 0.5 psi upon hitting the warning boost.

Rich. What version of the Walbro do you have? Regular or high pressure?

p.s. did you do any tuning with those cam gears?

Did not know there was two versions....I will have to check with ATS.

The dyno graphs are without tuning. I just strapped it on and went. I will be messing with the Cam gears, getting a retuned chip, and going to ~16-17psi next. That should put me in the 270-280 rwhp range.

WHEN IS THE A2W GOING IN!!!!

p.s. I think I'm going to keep my AC condenser and maybe run a second HE (if one isn't enough heat dissipation) under the car or something. This GA heat is killer.

After seeing how sad the stock IC is, I will have to speed up the plans...

My mods at the time where Apex blow of valve, Unorthodox pulley, boost controller, AEM cam gears, Wolfkatz fuel rail, Supra fuel pump, Supra 550cc injectors, Fuel pressure regulator, Garrett Gt30 dual ball bearing turbo, KO exhaust, EMS (Nemesis) and Stock clutch. All the internals where stock including the stock inter-cooler. After we pulled the motor out we found out that the cam gears where set incorrectly so I would have easly made over 300 WHP. I will have a new dyno graph up in a couple of weeks on 14 pounds of boost. Should make 350-380 WHP.

Did they use a sniffer into the tail pipe?
Or did they have the wideband in the dp after the turbo?

My car was at 11.5 making around 251@15psi to the wheels.
I also made 274whp@15psi and the af was leanest 11.5 at 7000rpm

I used the wind band on my down pipe. I have an extra port for it. At the time I did not have any cams or any internal work. All stock internals. IF you see my dyno graph you can see that it pulled all the way to red line. In a couple of weeks I will post new dyno results on 14 pounds of boost with my new Chris-K bad boy motor. I should be finish installing it by this weekend. Whooo Hooo.

Not sure if you are referring to me, but the wideband was in the DP. This was the first tune on the ATS ROM. They have the dyno run files and are making me another chip.

I was referring to you Rich

Since there will be a whopping 2 mr2's i may bring mine there and make it 3.

Turbonator, your dyno looks just like mine with 15.5 psi and some different mods.
Im making 200ft lbs by 4400 rpms and my peak power is at (274whp@ 7000 rpms) and holds there till the rev limit. My peak tq of 229 comes in at 5500 rpms and i have about 206tq @7k rpms.
