MegaSquirt V3 install, any pointers?

Intersted in what you guys have found out when installing a megasquirt on a toyota engine. Someone mentioned that the signal from the distributor will need to be conditioned. Can someone provide me with more info?

DB, I found a DEAL on a fully assembled MS3... Ebay. When I get it up and running I will be happy to send you the wireing, pinout and maps with stock injectors. That way all you would need to do is hook it up.

The problem is that your car has coil packs and requires a ford EDIS system to run them (quite a bit more work). I will be running this system on a car with a distributor and a big single coil.

mmm those links will be useful

The only issue I foresee is the pickups Toyota uses are VERY weak and you have to make sure the signal is conditioned or noise will give you headaches.
