Fuel mixture

Okay, I just dropped in my Gen3 and I know that it's not too 91 octane friendly. But, I was wondering if I could balance that out with a 50/50 mix of 92 octane and 110 race fuel. I'll prolly do that once or twice out of two weeks being that octane is $3.22/gallon over here and the race fuel is like $7.50 per gallon. Any help would be great, and I'll be trying this out anyways, but I just wanted a scientific opinion pertaining to the different ratings of fuel. Thanks.

What PSI you running?
From what i remeber you can run 91 in a stockish mr2 turbo

If you mix it with race fuel yes you increase the octane rating of the fuel..

just dont get that "NOS Octane Raiser" ****...

15psi

Well we do have 92 octane up here.

So what do you suggest for the fuel mix(92 and 110 octane) in order for the 92 to be brought up to say 96 octane...? 63/37, 65/35, 75/25?

Thanks for helping out there weasy

92 alone should be close enough...just add some extra higher octane stuff...75/25 sounds good to me...whatever you can afford really

I ran my mr2 turbo on 91 octane at 15psi before...many times...

Whats your altitud?e
