Our digital gauge will be Electrical. The analog one will be mechanical. Unfortunately I don't have an exact date for availability at this point. I should know a more solid timeframe around the end of next week. Same thing with pricing, I will have a better idea around the end of next week. Right now one of the engineers from the manufacturer is working on the final CAD drawings for the assembly, when he finishes that up, I will be able to get a better idea of pricing.

Okay, so I feel bad keeping you guys waiting so long. So here's a couple of teasers... but keep it hush hush, cuz you know, we dont want everyone finding out about this just yet

This is the final design that was finalized this week. I should have a prototype to test and play with next week. After that, we give the okay for manufacturing and it should be another 3-4 weeks for the items to start shipping out

Here are some pictures that the engineer sent me tonight of the 1st actual prototype. Keep in mind this is just a prototype and some parts like the legs and "screen" are not as clean and nicely positioned as the final product. The final product will be much cleaner than what you see in these pictures. One other thing to keep in mind. The red LCD looks much better in peson. It almos has an orange bright tint in the pictures. It looks very nice in person.

it will be awesome it had a semi circle of leds lighting up mimiking the analog guages as well !

now that would be make it perfecto !

now, i might have missed it but... will the numers etc. also bu in different colors? will there be different background colors also?

im hoping for blue on white,,,,,but im in for one too. hopefully wont be too pricy.

dang i wish i had connections to make stuff as clean as that. excellent job on the fitment. thats some nice work there!

We tried several different layouts to include a semi-circle of LED's, but we would have had to go with a much smaller main display to do this. We decided that the number display would end up too small if we went that route so we opted to keep the gauge as functional as possible.

Right now we are having both red and blue made. We are working on getting green as well, which we have to source custom display modules for. The green may or may not be available.

These are just the prototypes. The finished product will be MUCH MUCH cleaner than what you see in the pictures so far.
