Luni,
Ya, its been my little project on the side, and I almost thought that it wouldn't be completed at one point. But now it's finally coming to a close and I am REALLY excited about this one.

From my conversations with the engineer the pressure sensor we're using is accurate to 0.1 psi. The boost gauge itself has a calibration feature, you can calibrate it anytime you change altitude so that you get the most accurate reading. The calibration process is pretty simple and takes a few seconds. I haven't tested this myself, but that is easy enough to test with a compressor and a regulator.

I got the prototypes in. They both look amazing, much better than the pictures that the engineer had sent me. Test fit them, tested functionality. The gauges respond very quick, much faster than the typical analog gauge (if that matters to you). The installation is a breeze. Simply bolts on using the two existing holes that the stock boost gauge mounts too. The finished installation after the gauge cluster goes back in is VERY clean. It looks like it came from the factory that way. I'm sure you guys will be very happy and impressed with the product.

We are placing the order for the first batch Monday morning. We will have a discounted pre-order group buy for the initial batch. This will be for the first 50 units produced (25 in blue, 25 in red). We will ONLY take orders for these first 50 units for the group buy. After 50 orders have been placed we won't take any more orders until all 50 units have been delivered. After that they will only be available at the regular price since the demand is fairly high.

The group buy will be posted in a couple of days.

The analog one is supposed to look like stock IIRC, that's the look Tash was going for. Correct me if I'm wrong?

The analog gauge will still be made, but it will be later this year before it's ready.

The digital gauges are available now.

Talking UPDATE....

Hi guys,
Just received word from Baktasht on the status of the gauges. He received word that they had all of the LCD's and boards assembled. Today they are working on the all of the wiring for the memory modules and tomorrow they are finishing the firmware and programming. They should hopefully be shipped out tomorrow or friday and be in Baktasht's possession by Monday. When we find out more we will update!

Lastly, I'm sure most of you are wondering "why the hell is this guy updating this and what's with the signature!" I have joined up with Baktasht and EMSPowered and will be handling all questions regarding sales, products and shipments to help spread the load out and make the business run much more smooth. With this we should achieve a much faster response time and shipping time. So all questions will be directed to me.

Sooo, enough with all the talk, here are some pics of the boost gauges showing one where the LCD and boards were assembled. They are now all assembled like the one in the picture. Enjoy!

the blue costs more because the chemical/materials needed to make the diode glow blue is less abundant; hence the higher cost!
