Boost Gauge - Stock Location (Interest)
Update: May 2008
These are now available for sale: CLICK HERE I have been wanting to do this for quite a while now and finally found some time to start looking into it. What I want is to have a boost gauge manufactured that will be a perfect fit for the stock location and involve minimal modification. It should fit better than the Omori gauge that is commonly used and would require less modification. The goal is to have it be a 30-45 minute installation. The goal for pricing is to keep it in the range of $75-95. So what I need to know is who would realistically purchase one of these if we went through the trouble of having them made. I need a rough headcount. So if you think you'd be interested in what is described above, please chime in. Baktash Last edited by baktasht; 05-01-2008 at 09:36 AM.. |

I would love one, I am a big fan of stuff looking mostly stock. If it's a good, high-quality boost gauge that looks like stock, I'd be all about it.

keep the responses coming. Basically i'm trying to see how much interest there is so that I can work on quantity pricing so we can get the price as low as possible by making a lot of them at one time.

I am interested if it has an electric sender. I would prefer a sender with a 0-5v range that I can plug into my inovate wideband AF.

I would buy one but I already have one mounted in the stock cluster! mine is a HKS I only needed to drill one hole in the back of the cluster and widen the black plate a little bit(not sure what this piece is called). But I love it!

the goal here is to design a custom size that doesnt require drilling or any major modifcation. Got any pics of your HKS?

we've made some progress!! We have instrumentation manufacturers so far that can make a gauge small enough for the stock location and are willing to do a 100% custom housing to fit. I'm hoping we can have these ready for sale in 3-5 weeks.

Baktasht, you're bringing lots of stuff to the community that we have been wanting, but haven't fully received (underbody panels, this, the intake manifold GB is awesome too). This goes without saying, but we all appreciate your hard work and effort
. Keep the products coming! |
