Here is a thought for you guys who are wanting sponsorship. This is coming from experience as I used to have sponsors for my Red Deuce back when i was in the states. This is more of a generalization, and not necessarily reflects what baktasht is looking for as far as sponsored cars.

Most sponsors, the reason they sponsor, is to get publicity. You won't find many people who are sponsored outside of large city's, so take that into account. You will also find that sponsors require you to attend an X amount of races every year, and an X amount of car shows every year. A car needs to be balanced in both sides of the sport, show....and race. A car also needs to be in the top field of atleast one of those events. If your car is setup to race, then you are going to need to win a few, and be in the top 3 of a few, this is standard because the top few cars are always showcased usually at the end of a race. In car shows, winning or placing in a car show is even higher publicity because of the turnouts at those things, and sponsors love that.

Take my car for example, i have never lost a show. I have taken a trophy home in every show i have attended with my car. But have i ever won a race? No (soon to change). To some sponsors, this is unacceptable and i would never be considered for sponsorship.

Just take this into account when submitting it. Not everyone who submits there car will be sponsored by EMSpowered. Although you might have a nice car or a fast engine, they have to take into account whether it will be financially pleasing to them to put a logo on your car, and some parts in your engine.

Sponsorship is about publicity, getting the word out to people who don't know about the company by having a car with there logo on it, win.

Good info, I've talked to a few companies about it before and thats exactly how they said it to me. You need to be really good in one thing or at least a really good all around car. My car needs a new paint job and front bumper before I even consider it. Its quick but its no where near fast enough to make up for a messy front bumper and crappy paint.
