New Exhaust Manifold
We are getting a new "ramhorn" style tubular exhaust manifold in for test fitting in the next couple of weeks. It is a fairly unique design with big runner, full thick walled stainless steel construction, and puts the turbo in a very optimal position to leave plenty of room for a nice large downpipe. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up incase you're planning any builds in the near future that would require a nice exhaust manifold.

1337, would love to see dyno pulls from gains on say, a stock ct20b at stock boost, then one w/ boost turned up. One with exhaust, etc. to see what kinda power this gives us.
Any idea on price range? |

this is definitely not for a stock turbo
![]() For a small turbo like a ct26/ct20b/ct27 you are much better off sticking with the stock exhaust manifold. Can I have this one modified for use with a stock turbo? YES... will we go that route? probably not, there is any benefit to use a tubular manifold on a small stock-ish turbo. |

What inlet flange and how is the wastegate runner(s) positioned? Twin scroll?

the initial design is a single scroll, we can put any turbo/wastegate flange on it that we want (T3, T4, T25, etc...)
I am waiting for the first one to get here to I can get it test fitted and confirm that the turbo position is okay. Then the next thing is to see if we can modify it slightly to make it a twin scroll manifold, and go from there. I'm not sure on pricing yet. These first ones are costing me a lot, because they're prototypes |

Would something like this even benefit on say a gt28? Another relatively small turbo, but bigger than stock. Or are these just for big-don't-spool-till-4500-turbos?

I got the prototype in today. There are a few things that still need to be improved. But the overall final design will be very similar to the prototype you see here. Keep in mind this is a full twinscroll manifold!!! If you don't know what twin scroll is for, do some searching, there are great benefits to be had

Have you test fitted it yet B? Do you know how far from stock the turbo will be placed as far as position?
Just wondering if current market downpipes might be interchangeable or not. |

I will be soon. That is what skillzo1 wants to know too. It looks like it would be pretty darn close to the stock location. It might put the turbo about 1" higher than the typical bolton "turbo kit" because there wouldnt be a manifold adapter. I should have some time to do some test fitting and measuring in a week or two.

Does anyone have a stock Gen2 exhaust manifold that they can send me? I need one to take some measurements off of.

weren't the manifolds different from 90-92 and 93+ genII? for some reason, i always thought one series had 9 bolts and the other had 7

yup, but they are all interchangable. These are 9 bolt, so they will fit either the 90-92 or the 93+. You just end up not using two of the stud holes.

I have 1 tester already lined up for this. If anyone is interested I still need 3 more testers. Trying to get them on various cars with various setups.
If you are interested please email or call me directly |
