(oreder processing for two weeks) Your headers....

That header you stock, the one I just ordered...

Do you guys build those "in house"? or are they just shipped out and purchased from another manufacturer?

I was poking around the internet and your design bears a striking resemblance to the "SS Autochrome" headers.

I just wanted to know if it was the same piece.

Also whats the shipping on that thing? Its been "pending" for like a week now.

The headers we sell are the same as the ones you see through ssautochrome and other sites. The difference with those is that we warranty them against mis-fitment and cracking. So if you ever have problems with them, you always have a place to come back to instead of some company that never replies to you after the sale

All that "pending" means is that your payment hasn't cleared yet. We have those in stock so usually, so should ship as soon as your payment clears. Typically you get the pending status when paying by "e-check".

Let me know if you have any questions.

Were they at least manufactured by someone who knows what they're doing and not SS Autochrome?

I'll take them either way, you guys back it against their usual problems, so I don't see anything wrong with this purchase.

Thx.

Depending on which one of my suppliers they come from they will either be unbranded or xspower branded. They're all inspected by us and checked before shipping to check for defects or flaws. And then we also warranty them against any defects misfitment or cracking as well, so you're covered both ways.

My order has been "Processing" for the last two weeks, I've pm'd you the information and everything.

People are getting their parts. So why aren't I? You said you had both pieces in stock.

Long story short: What the hell man?

I don't want to be an ass, but I'd like my parts.

David, I think your parts were already shipped out. I won't be able to check on it until tomorrow morning. I'll check first thing in the morning and let you know (Around 7-8am central time).

sorry about the wait. Just checked on your order. It's actually boxed/labeled and waiting to be picked up since a while back. Not sure why it hasn't been yet. I'll make sure it goes out with our Monday FedEx pickup.

Depending on the week I have anywhere between 30-60 shipments that go out each week. So sometimes a couple of things fall through the cracks. It takes about 1-5 days to get to you depending on where you are.

Parts are in.

Header has a leak somewhere... I had to give it a little love to get the o2 sensor to fit. Sounds pretty cool though, when I'm not under load and its leaking.

But the bar works fine.

did you torque everything down properly? I'd recommend against using the gasket that comes with the headers that goes between the cylinder head and headers, instead use your old OEM gasket if its still in one piece, or get a new OEM gasket. They last much longer and seal much better. For the other 2 gaskets you can use the ones that came with the headers.

Jeez, now you tell me...

Its cool. I've got some playing to do, see what I can figure out.

Thank god I've got a hoist, or it would have taken me hours.

I'm headed back down there to play with it later this week, I'll see what I can discover.

Got the big leak solved. Seems to be a problem with the o2 bung setup you guys had and I didn't use... I think the gasket in general (head to manifold) is leaking. (Unless thats just the sound it makes.)

Other than that, it works really well, the fitment was good too. My CAT was buggered, so now its all clear and runs really well.

But that rear bar.. Man what a huge difference.

All in all, with a little more tinkering this will be a super excellent setup for me.
