HID lights

I know this might be outside your venue but any chance you have a line on HID lights? Even better, perhaps replacement wiring harness for the lights?

A couple of my suppliers carry HID kits. But at this point I'm honestly not happy with any of the HID kits I've seen. The main reason is that they mostly have only low beam. That means that when you install a HID kit you lose a functioning high beam. I know it seems like a small thing to some people. But not having a functioning high beam is a real safety hazard.

I can source a replacement harness for stockers though. But why would you need a replacement harness?

If you put a high wattage bulb in there is a chance that it could fry the stock wiring harness. At least that's true with the HID options for my DD Jeep.

Gotcha... ya. when using bulbs/housings that are pulling more power than the stock wiring can handle. It's typical (and recommended) to use a seperate relay for the lights.

Yeah, on my show car, I have the headlight low beams and high beams properly hooked up separately with new thicker gauge wiring fused/etc to the battery via a relay. All the stock wiring does is trigger the relay. It's worth it to do it right, if for nothing else other than the piece of mind. *2 cents*

IMO if your going to install HID there really no point of using your high beams, well I never used my high beam.
