Today's shipment arrived 1 hour ago. I'll get as many out as I can today. The rest will go out tomorrow morning.

Thumbs up

Ordered mine today. Now I just need to track down a sub box and a speaker grill cheap. Any offers????

PS Thanks to EMS for putting this together. Just priced out some cheepo Clairion 5 1/4 mid-bass speaker for $99 at a local electronics store so it looks like $24 is an awsome price, even with shipping, for these speakers.

Got the speaker today, and got some emsPOWERED.com stickers too! I'll slap them on baktasht, always nice to represent those that deserve.

Speakers got delivered today. Great service on what looks like a solid product. Hopefully not too solid when it comes to trimming it up to make it fit.

Anybody got a review on these? The range seems a little high for subs but you never know how close reality is to the the listed specs

I actually just got one I ordered from another company in yesterday. Its not like a knock the block down sub but it adds a nice decent amount of bass. I have 6 1/2 components in my doors and to 6by9's I made boxes for sitting on the cabnets behind the seats. The sub made it sound a little more well put together. I dought I'll get anymore other than better door speakers and an amp to run them and the 6by9's on. From my experiance, its worth the $30-$40 you pay for it. What kind of music do you listen to? I'm like 98% rock and 2% anything else. Lol You'll probably want a little more if you like rap and all that stuff but for rock its just about perfect.

I'm a rock kind of guy too but my love for Tool requires some semi-decent bass. Honestly, the stock subs on my 94 aren't that bad but they get some distortion in a couple songs where the bass hits those low octaves.

IMO for $30 and all you gotta do is trim it and bolt it in, its a great buy. The fact that I didn't have to do any wiring and you can't even tell its there is a plus. I never heard the stock one cause mine was blown when I got it but I would assume by the looks of it that it wasn't as hard hitting as this one. I'd give it a shot and if you still want more you can always add to it or resell it. Like I said though, for me its pretty much perfect, it even does do ok on some rap and harder hitting rock songs. Heres a pic of my set up. With them and that sub it can do just about any type of music and sound pretty decent.

You talked me into it For the price, it's hard to go too wrong and with the T-Tops, I'm loathe to build something bigger like you've got. Thanks for the input.

Lol cool let me know your thoughts on it. Also what kind of radio do you have? I have a pioneer and I did have to mess with my settings a tad to get the right sound.

Stock radio actually. It still sounds pretty good but it has trouble skipping tracks if you don't run a cleaning CD through it every month or two and even then, it's a big finicky. If it'd just get a little worse then I'd have the motivation to replace it

Lol oh, I don't even do cd's anymore in my 2. The roads down here are crap and they skip like ever mile if your in an older or lowered car. I just leave my ipod hooked up to mine. 750+ songs whenever you want them is nice. Lol

That'd be nice. The roads around here aren't exactly pristine either and mine's lowered a bit so it can be real rough. I'd love it if I could get a stereo with a USB connection so I can just plug a flash drive full of songs into it without having to keep track of an ipod.

Would that work with a regular flash drive or does it have to be an ipod that's connected to it?
