good stuff. I'm glad you like it. Not sure about the silencers. Silencers are typically for louder single exit exhausts. My best guess would be to measure the inner diameter of the exhaust tips and get a universal silencer that closely matches the diameter.

Sweet. The header makes it pretty loud. What with removing the CAT... I was looking at buying the same exhaust. have you got any sound clips? (I know everyone is going to ask) I might just fab one up though. Single exit FTW...
Does your header make a "ffftt" sound while under load? That you can only hear in the cabin? If so then mine's working perfectly. But I think it may still have a leak in it.. After replacement of all the gaskets and whatnot. Sry for the derailment, just curious. |

Its a "fftt, fftt, fftt" sounds like exhaust. I took it all apart, new gasket and everything no leaks that I could see on the old one...
It could just be a new header sound. |

Heres some of the pic I took. The left exhaust is a bit dented on the top, but i can live with that no worries
(It was like that when I got it). I will take more pictures soon. Unfortunately, I dont have any sound recording device to record the exhaust sound, but trust me, its deep, and its loud Very nice sound though.- Dan ![]() ![]() |

I need my nose to heal now so I can get mine on! The next 6 weeks are going to be the gayest ever. It looks so nice on there and I really want to hear it. Right now I am running with the stock header, cat, and half (that's right half) a b-pipe and it's pretty loud.

Ok so I got my headers and exhaust installed finally!!! For those of you NA guys that want a little more umph this is a MUST. I get so much more throttle response it's insane. From what I can tell they aren't too loud, but for the past 2 months I've been running open headers and that's it. As far as the install it took me, I had a lot of problems do to old parts or rusted to hell bolts and studs plus those retarded tow hooks in the rear, 5 and a half hours if everthing went off without a hitch I would say the slightly mechanically inclined can do this in about 3-4 hours from first bolt removed to driving. When I get the time i will write a how to, sorry no pics because I forgot my camera. It is a pretty straight forward bolt on install though. I am very satified though and I highly recommend this combo for an NA upgrade.

Like I said I was running on nothing but open headers and that was loud. In the higher RPM's it's really loud though and kind of sounds like VTEC.

So it fits with the EMS Header?
If so I'm tempted.. 3 inches is pretty big tho... Who makes the mufflers used in the system? |

The mufflers? The entire assembly is manufactured by a company called Motoria. I'm pretty sure they make the mufflers themselves as well.
