Installed EMS DP, I/C Kit, and Exhaust....
Baktash is the F'ing man!!! EMSPowered.com is the easiest way to shop and get quality performance products for a great price!!! Not to mention i can get ahold of Baktash no matter where im at through AIM on my blackberry... so tech support is a breeze!
anyways.... Installed the EMSPowered.com I/C kit yesterday, the EMS Powered DP 3 days ago, and had the EMS Powered Exhaust installed a little while back. 1. Exhaust - SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!!! so many people ask me if i have a V8 in my car lol Its VERY throaty and has a very nice growl to it. 2. DownPipe - Installed this a few days ago and was extremely impressed with the results. Due to Stock I/C I was having boost creep problems and the boost would not build up pressure that well because there was no cat to help build up the pressure.... but when i was on the highway.... holy sheeeoottt it made a huge difference.... 3. Intercooler - A MUST HAVE!!! after I installed the I/C the car felt brand new. Building boost was easy... i can be in 4th gear at 30mph and low rpms... floor it and watch the boost gauge make a steady move from 0 to 13lbs in just a few seconds..... Im no longer suffering from boost creep as bad as it was. I still creep up but only a few lbs. The car idles much better, feels and sounds much cleaner too..... I should have gotten this a lonnnnngg time ago. Going to the track friday to see how she does! |

Definitely. I think I'm getting one shipment of spal fans in today, and another on Friday.
Also, are you using a boost controller? If so, which one? Your boost creep might be due to an improperly adjusted, or the lack of a boost controller. |

Really? lol.. I had no idea.
Also, on the new turbo thing. I think you'd be better off getting a proper boost controller first to see what your current setup will do. You'd be suprised how good the stock turbo is ![]() |

lol not my turbo.... i have some bad seals and im afraid the bearings might be going bad.... some days are better than others. Sometimes it spools hella fast and others not so much. it sounds different too when its spooling much quicker.

hehe yeah i accidently installed that cold pipe u sent me as the hot pipe and it fit perfect... almost better than the hot pipe in the kit. only thing is that it has more bends and my stock fan wouldnt fit with it so i put the other one back on.... its a little bit tighter fit but it fits

Your varying power levels and spool characteristics are more than likely due to the lack of a proper boost controller. The stock boost control does some funny things. Pick up a Pro-Z and you'll see a HUGE difference.
Also, are you sure your ct26 is leaking? They seldomly go bad. |

oil coming out of my BOV, Oil in my I/C pipes, Oil in my spark plug holes, oil in my intake tube, oil oil everywhere! lol
i have changed my plugs 3 times!!! replaced my vc gasket too... it was bad and im still getting a little oil in the plug holes. car smokes at idle once i crank it up.... once i drive a little bit though it stops smoking (assuming the seals have swelled up once they get hot) |
