Question EMS - Question about order status

Anyone else having problems with EMSpowered? I had ordered the 3" exhaust and 5sfe headers. After two weeks+ of waiting for them to arrive I called and was told the exhaust had been on backorder for months. I was told I would be issued a full refund (about $630) on Monday the 31st of March when they were open. It's not the 2nd of April and i have not recieved a refund nor will they answer my emails or text messages.

They have been a little slow because of their move to a new server. I would call Baktasht to get a hold of him: (512) 968-0998

He will never rip anyone off and he'll straighten everything out for you

Steve. I just searched our database for an exhaust ordered under first name "Steve" and I don't see anything. Was this the one ordered under last name Acosta and a different first name? If so, I think I spoke to you over the weekend on the phone right? The refund was issued yesterday. If you login to the EMSPowered online store you can see that the status of the order has changed to "Refunded". If I remember correctly it was a credit card transaction, so it will take a couple of days to show up on your end.

Took about 300 calls but finally got an answer and the payment was refunded just about 10 minutes ago. Things get scary when $600 is on the line and your unfamiliar with people.

Steve, sorry about not getting back to your calls/voicemails sooner. It gets busy here and I'm not always able to get to the phone right away. Your wife asked me to put her on the notification list for when the exhaust is back in stock. I've added her email to the list, so when they're back in stock you should be getting an automated email.

Yep as long as things got straitened out thats fine. I understand your in the middle of moving and such but our concerns were still there :-) Glad everything worked out. Please keep us informed as to when the new shipments of exhausts will arrive.

Be cool man. You are more likely to get ripped off by Santa Claus than by Baktash.

My last order took forever, communication was really slow and one part was damaged in shipping. Things eventually worked out and i'm sure if I had chosen to return the $10 part that was bent (I fixed it myself) it would have been replaced. I did get some pretty good deals and he did follow up to make sure I got everything.

Bottom line, when I need parts again I'll have no problem giving Baktasht a second chance.

I've submitted all of my paperwork to them, power of attorney stuff, etc... It's in their hands at this point and I'm at their mercey.

Ah, I remember yours I think. It was for the intercooler block off plate right? If I remember correctly it got bent because of poor packaging right? That one is totally on us, and not a common mistake. I think we were just so far behind on orders after a couple of sales that had a HUGE turnout compared to what I was expecting, that things were being packed/shipped as quick as possible. Worst case though, I stand behind everything that leaves here and will replace, reimburse, and do everything possible to make things right in the less than 1% of our transactions that hit a snag sometimes.

If this guy asked me to loan him a couple grand, i would have NO problem with it. That's how much i trust him.

is it just me who finds approaching confrontation this way less than mature? it might be due to the accusations being on emspowered specifically but i personally think it's a bit unfair and cheap to set up a defenseless situation and defame someone on such a public scale where potentially tons of board members (and internet browsers) read "emspowered ripped me off?." also when it stands that emspowered didn't rip you off and you've been made the ass, the title irreversibly stands for all to read.

although i can't change the title of this thread, i too stand for baktasht and what he's doing for the mr2 world through emspowered.com

I understand where you're coming from and you guys are familiar with me and my business practices. But for a new customer that doesn't know the difference between EMSPowered and some fly-by-night ebay seller it is difficult to figure out the best plan of action. It's completely understandable, as I myself, and I'm sure many of you have been in the same shoes. Heck, we've probably all been ripped off plenty of times.
