What's the Internal depth on the enclosure? What's the max depth a sub can have for you to mount it in it?

Thanks...I have some high end subs that are pretty deep, so it's a measurement I need to know

I have some high end high excursion (true 40mm peak to peak) 10" SQ subs I want to put in the MR2, but they have a 6.5" mounting depth. I do have another good high excursion 10" sub I could use (true 32mm p-p), but it still has a 5.75" mounting depth. Looks like I'm custom making a box. Oh well, I can do it, just didn't want to take the time, LOL.

I appreciate you looking that up for me baktasht! I'll remember the measurements and pass people along who are looking for a decent pre-fabbed MR2 box.

A sub that is 6.5" deep is not going to be an easy fit behind the seats unless you cut the storage box and metal frame out and built a custom box that fits flush against the floor. On another note. You should really consider the combo that we started the group buy for today. I tested this sub against 16 other subs and I have to say it outperformed ALL of them. I have an Alpine R1 10" in one of my cars right now which is a fairly high end sup and this sub kept up with the R1 for sure. One of these will be PLENTY for 90% of MR2 owners. If you're one that likes to wake up the neighbors 3 blocks away then you might want two

I have 3 Phoenix Gold Xenon High Excursion 10" DVC subs (xmax = 40mm) @ home, 1 2ohm DVC and 2 4ohm ones. It was their high end SQ line before they were bought out by the current owners. It was also the last of the Phoenix Gold products designed by the old PG engineers whom producted the titanium, tantrum, and all the other famous PG lines, before they left and started Exile Audio (who make one heck of a product I might add). I'm only putting 1 of them in the MR2 likely. With the power output and linear excursion (xmax) they have that's all I'll need.

The drivers side has no storage box, just the OEM sub box which I removed. I've actually measure it, depth wise, for what I'd need for an enclosure, and I can fit it behind the seat and still have enough room to clear the seat. I don't mind having to do all that work, I'd just rather not. I want to use one of the 3 Xenons I have though.

Your group buy price is a good deal though for people who don't already have a sub and are looking to add some bump. The Price of the box + sub is less than the sub alone lists for retail on Dayton Audios site.
