Ksport Coilovers
What your opinion on these Bak? I know you only stock what you feel is good enough to put on your car.
I am looking to these as an alternative to getting bilstein's w/ trd springs. I have heard mixed reviews, and it seems people love them, or have had horror stories with them. What kind of warranty do they carry? |

I actually like the Ksport coilovers. I've owned and installed many different brands of coilovers on various personal cars and customer cars. The Ksports are better than the Megan, BC Racing, Tein Flex, and some of the other similar ones. Their are better coilovers out there though, but at this price range, you won't be able to get anything else that is near as good unless you want to spend a few thousand more. Ksport includes a 1 year warranty on them. So far I've never had to send a set back for any warranty work, they seem to be very well built. One main advantage with the Ksport coilovers that you will see compared to simple strut/spring upgrades is that your ride height is fully adjustable, and the shock dampening is also fully adjustable. This is a huge advantage over bilstein/trd setup you're referring to.
Either way you decide to go, let me know if you need any input or have any questinos. |

Do you know if KSport has the ability to rebuild the dampers in the US? Where are they based?

K Sport coilovers are crap.: Tires, Wheels, Brakes and Suspension: Nissan Forums / Infiniti Forums - NICOclub
basically goes to show why you shouldn't use them for a performance app, though street use would be fine ![]() |

ahh... eh, maybe slightly better than KS... but I would have to get outrun by someone using them before I'd give up running on Konis or KWs
