Digital Oil Pressure Gauge question

I have the EMS digi oil pressure gauge kit and I can't seem to get the sender to fit in the OEM location. Also, I need to know if the threads on the sender are male BSPT or NPTM and if the brass adapter is NPTF x BSPT male?

Should I pick up a small 90 degree BSPT x NPT fitting to get the sender to fit?

McMaster-Carr

I used this elbow to connect to the block. We'll see how it holds up. I should be all set on the gauge and the only thing I have left is the dimmer wire, but I think I have that figured out. Thanks!
