Running 1UZ MK1!!!!!!!

Don't know if you guys have already seen this but anyway here it is.. a guy from mr2brutal.com did it.... Damn! would love that on my MK2!

My buddy and I dropped a 1UZ into his MK3 Supra, that was a fun project. I wanna put one in a 2nd gen MR2

here in NZ its pretty popular to drop the 4L V8 in Hilux (Tacoma) pick up trucks

That pretty cool to drop that engine in a small pickup. I'd imagine it would be more of a challenge to drop it in to a MK1 though.

yeah man, check out how it fills the engine bay of a truck! now imagine getting all that into a mk1!

Hm...I'm actually picking up an engineless MK1 in the next week...

Nah, I don't have anywhere near the proper knowledge for this kind of project, although I may think about a MK1.5 though.

well that 1uz took the fabrication of a tube rear end, which i think i well beyond the skills of 99% of us

and mk1.5 isnt exactly a walk in the park either, you need to fabricate all new engine mounts and get the mk2 gearbox to mate up to the mk1 axles, plus deal with the electrics, and youre gonna need bigger brakes

plus then you need to get it all legal

totally worth it though ay,
just use a discrete BOV so you dont give the game away hahah
