87 na to 89 sc questions please help

I just wanted to get a few questions I have answered as I have searched and not gotten what I was looking for

1. I heard the body harness for the 87+ na's are a direct pnp for the sc, so does that mean I only need to remove the harness from the kick panel to the harness and then of course the engine harness and ecu?
If so then will the SC light on cluster still work, and what about the fuel selector switch?


2. when using the na trans do I use an upgraded na clutch or can I use an sc clutch setup? I am assuming the flywheel is the same but not the actual clutch.


3. what else would be worth keeping from the donor car when doing the swap?
