Mk1 3sgte swap

I've asked on here earlier which would be an easier swap, a 20 valve or a 3sgte, but right now, I'm thinking at dropping the 3sgte into my gen 1 mr2. I am aware that is not a very easy swap at all, but what all needs to be done to make it work. The 3sgte that i'm looking at buying for it right now is from a celica AWD all-trac. Does anybody know what needs to be done to modify the axles to fit the mr2. Can i use the one's from the all-trac, or do I have to go with something else? I've heard that i have to use part of "maybe" the celica's axles, and part of the mr2's axles and make a hybrid type axle or something like that. I can use the tranny from the Celica as well right? And lastly, how much do the motor mounts need to be modified to make it fit?
Thank you, any input will be greatly appreciated.

Lets see. A have no real experience(yet), but close to a year of research as I am doing to same swap this summer.
All-trac trans is a AWD trans, it has a yoke for a drive shaft coming out of the back of it. I would avoid it.
As for axles, everybody says use 2 drivers side SC axles (hella expensive and hard to find). Some people mod their MK2T axles with different outer CVs. Personally I am swapping over turbo hubs and suspension front and back. So I will just use factory MK2T axles.
Lastly the MK1 motor mounts must be entirely removed to fit the 3s motor in there.
Looks through these for more info:

I did the 3sge swap and I widened the rear track width to accomodate the slightly longer cv shafts. I might have got away with not doing that but it would be very very marginal. They fit straight in the hubs but remember it was the non-turbo shafts the turbo ones may be different (not sure though). Also the all-trac is 4wd and has a different box with the rear driveshaft as already mentioned, they are worth good coin to the street racers that blow them doing drags so you could probably sell it and buy a mr2 box with some money to spare.

You will find if you are not comfortable with wiring that you either have to get comfortable or find someone who will wire it for you at a good price. If it was a MR2 turbo motor you can buy the adapter for the harness but the celica has an intergrated fuse box on it so it is chop and start again on the body loom side. It took me about 20 hours to wire mine using the diagrams. Someone who knows what they are doing will take less but I was a celica loom noob so had to reference every wire.

I have it posted on here, it is not a step by step how to but it has the ghetto shifter and shows the engine in place with a quick video of it running. Mine was a ultra budget build hence why I didn't use a turbo motor it is relivant all the same I know a lot more about wiring than before at least. Remember to put the dipstick in before you drive it as well
