It needs to be custom wired (unless you get a PnP harness from mr220v) and the 16v head fits (20v intake won't bolt up though needs an adapter) but it's a backwards step you are better off with the 20v head with the vvti and such. Tranny bolts right up I did it yesterday when I bolted the locker on my new engineI used the silvertop clutch it all fits perfect.

I am still trying to figure out what harness I need on my 20v mr2 and what ecu. I think that I am going to go with an auto ecu and jumper the park sensor so it starts. I can wire it, will just do it like my mk1.5 but there are a couple different ecu's and I don't want to burn one out plugging it in.

I purchased a BT from JHOT, came with a bunch of parts like ECU, cut wiring harness, transaxle, even the intake and air filter box. I feel I got a good deal. I've put 16K miles on the engine, no oil burn and I flog it.

Research carefully your importer - reseller, there are several out there that are shady.

I used a MR220V wiring harness, no complaints with him or his service either.

Good luck.

The blacktop rods are weaker, they are the only rods in the 4age line up I don't trust. They don't usually give a problem on a stock engine but I have heard of bent rods on thrashed modified motors.

Club4AG Forum Topics: SilverTop Vacuum lines
the two lines that are question marks and pointed out in every picture...get plugged...so does the little line on the front of the collector box and in the intake elbow

did you get a 20v transmission with your engine? they are better gear boxes

If your pressed for money why not a smallport swap? The engine can be had for 400 complete and can put down the same power or more than a smallport with ease. And it will run just fine on your stock electronics.

Nothing wrong with BT rods if your staying NA, honda engine run thinner rods at higher power levels and higher rpms no problem...
