to turbo or not to turbo

I just purchased a 1987 t-top that is in great shape want to know should I go turbo or not???? I know that I still have my 3.0l sho swap to finish but want to know what you all thought about a 20valve with a turbo....

never heard much about the 20v with a turbo. more comon would be a 4A-GZE with a turbo...

i plan for a really little turbo on my st at some point with a custom built intake design i've been drawing up. but it has to have some parts replaced to make more then a few psi boost

20V turbo is actually pretty common... you will need aftermarket pistons as the 20V's are not forged and are high compression. You will also need a custom plenum, as the stock plenum is good for about 5psi.

the block, crank, and rods are actually quite beefy in the 20V.... actually larger than in the same years of the gze... which makes no sense, but is true....

dont you mean are forged and arent high compression?
