Event pics from the XAT Performance dyno day

The XAT Performance meet in Tampa ended up having a really good turnout and I was glad I was able to make it down to see some old friends and meet some new owners that I haven't met before. I wish I had more time to hang out, but I had to get back to Orlando to pick up a car and head home. It ended up being 24.5 hours on the road by the time it was all said and done, and needless to say, I was exhausted when I finally got back home. Of course, when I got back home my roomate was having a party so I ended up staying up for 6 more hours. I have pictures of the event posted at Carpron.

They're a performance shop in Tampa that offers complete fabrication services, motor swaps, tuning and dynoing, and now performance alignments. They're a smart bunch of guys, and pretty cool.

I think the highlight of the meet was seeing the true right-hand drive MR2 with all the JDM goodies. Full suede/leather interior, automatic climate control, folding side mirrors, and motorized fogs. Pretty slick! I can only imagine the work required to import that car here into the US. Another cool car was the old Camry with full Gen 3 altrac drivetrain. Unfortunately I was unable to have my V6 turbo completed in time for the meet...but she'll be there for the next one!

BTW ncturnal, it was very cool to meet you. I was wondering if you still had that cruise control cover for sale? =) Thanks!

Yeah My buddy John's Car does look pretty sweet being true JDM
He's even luckier that its a 91 with a GenIII motor. (as i was telling him in pictures before he went to buy it lol )

And my other Buddy - Colon's Alltrac Camry is Definetly A Site to See

http://www.carpron.com/multisite/v/U...v06/?g2_page=3

Good to see a meet some new people
I had mine on the dyno last I new i had a boost leek but couldn't find it
It ended up being a 3 inch slice on the bottom side of my Long Intercooler Hose(from turbo to Intercooler) LOL so breaking up it only put 166to the wheels at 17psi blowing out the hose LOL
It didn't find the Gash till after i took the hose of after tryin to race an audiTT on the way home. Yeah No boost No Good.

I love how this one has all those vinyls, including sponsor stickies, but shoe polish numbers on the window.

Why does the windshield of this car look like it's half tinted?

Crazy engine lid here. Did this guy make alternate arrangements for cooling?

Love to be able to gather that many 2s to an event ...

Hey, I am the owner of the car with the vinyls, since maybe you curiosity is killing you I am going to explain, here in Florida when you go to the track they gave you a number to identify your car, they only have shoe polish, sorry they don't have vinyls there...... sorry I forgot to remove it when I came back from the track the night before

Ahhh, you're assigned numbers? What club you running with?

I work timing & scoring for the NASA Midwest region, that's why I noticed

Are you TRD sponsored? I like the color scheme.

I ended up at the wrong address as well. Luckily Andrea guided me to the right place.

Ya, it's the silver RHD car. It's a 91 with a Gen3, but is using the Gen2 electronics.
