The official NOPI 2005 picture thread

Well, I got very few pics from the event this year, although I did see several MR2s. My camera battery died shortly after I arrived and I didn't have a replacement with me.

Anyway, here's what I have:

I saw some nice MR2s this year, and met some pretty cool owners. I didn't run into the North Carolina crew

, but I did meet I few locals that I had not met before, and some owners from Mississippi, Florida, & Ohio. It was a fun weekend overall, and I enjoyed meeting the guys who made it out to the event.

Other than the high cost of water and the heat , NOPI is so much fun. The next time I go I plan on taking a Western Flyer wagon to pull my cooler around in. LOL LOL I hope you folks had fun . Would love to see more pics.

My car is nice, but I think I came home with this 1st place in MR2 custom because of the lack of competition. There are a ton of MR2's on this forum that make my car look like a beater. Sorry if I missed your car. I tried to find all of them. I know I mist a Gray Spyder with a Lotus swap. That car was Awsome too! -Wade-

For all the hate people get for crystal clear corners and intake scoops...they sure are popular and if I may say....look good.
How are they received from non-mr2 owners?

Apparently the NOPI staff managed to loose his paperwork. His car was very clean. Much cleaner than the pics show. He definatly should have earned a win in at least the street mild class.
