head gasket reccomendation

Okay so I have my head gasket out, found the leaks and everything woot woot.

i was in class talking to my teacher who doenst reccomend a metal head gasket, but says buy the best head gasket you can buy and leave it at that
he says it should be 2 different mating surfaces since it is an iron block and an aluminum head

.8 compression or whatever that thin gasket is is like 1.3 hp so i dont care about that, but i'm not exactly sure which head gasket to go with I want one with more longevity because its not real fun pulling this head

the only choices I see right now is the 100 dollar one on passracing.com and its TRD metal one
a couple overpriced ones on tweakit
and the oem one from aaron

also as for head bolts...aaron said theres some cross referencing bolts that people use, does anyone know where to get bolts or what bolts will fit the engine?

Silvertop high idle

My silvertop idles at 2,100 rpms and is running rich. I've set the timing to 10 BTDC, replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor. I tested the ISCV and it works off the car. Tested the water temp sensor and it's OK. Prior to replacing the tune up parts it ran rich but idled rough and unstable around 1,000, sometimes it would die.
The swap wasn't done by me and some of the work is suspect. Where should I spend my time? Tracking down wiring to be sure stuff is correctly wired, fuel pressure regulator, throttle position sensor, or something else I've completely missed?

I think I may have just found a local source for me to get my hands on a 20v....

Home - Akina Motorsportz LLC. (http://www.akinamotorsportz.com/1.html)

The website looks cheezy lol... but they are about 3 blocks from where I work so I am going to swing by after work and check them out.

I really hope they are legit and the prices are reasonable...

Wish me luck!

Will 20v JDMs become scarce?

I'm probably going to attempt a swap early next year, but it got me thinking.

Since most of these engines come out of cars that are 1991 through 1998, this is making the engines 11 - 18 years old.

Although they are still readily available, when will they start to dwindle? What will we do when the supply runs out? Other than rebuilding a 4AGE, what would be another option for a relatively easy swap?
