HELP! Gas tank lining/sealer...

I was told I need to get a liner on the inside of the tank so it won't rust again since today's new gasoline has a "shelf-life" of about 45-60 days.

There are 3 pipes that come out of the tank and go to the fuel evaporation system. The liner that will be applied to the inside of the tank has the thickness of honey, it dries to that consistency of plastic.

Here's my dilemma. It will most likely clog up the pipes that are inside the tank and make the evaporation system useless.

Has any one had experience with this before? Has anyone disconnected their fuel evaporation system? If so, what effect (if any) did it have?

See image below for the pipes that attach to the fuel evaporator. Thanks.

Unknown smoke issue?

Okay, so I replaced my 02 Censor which was causing my CEL to come on, and took her on a drive. Well, about 20 minutes later when I come back, I smell something cooking off of the engine. Smelled like coolant, maybe, or oil. So I check, and there's nothing I can see up top. It seems to be very very little smoke, and the engine isn't overheating. Oil pressure and coolant temps were fine according to the gauges. I'm not leaking oil, and my coolant levels are still the same this morning. Could I have a pinhole leak somewhere causing it (it being whatever may be leaking) to drip on to the block and cook off? Could it be a hairline crack in the water pump dripping just a bit of water? I'm at a loss for what it could be, as I've been over everything with a fine toothed comb.

Edit: To be specific, there's no smoke from the tail pipe. It's coming from the engine bay.

The Ttop seals look like they are in good condition, I assume there is something with the way the glass sits on the rail. I've not yet taken off the door cards and inspected, but does anyone have an idea what it may be?

I have reffered to the BGB and cannot find anything regarding it apart from the exploded diagram.

Strange problems after hitting redline

Something strange has happened to my mr2 sc.

Some background info, the syncros need replacing in the gearbox, gears select ok but gear shifts must not be done quickly.

Last night I was driving fast for a very short burst. I had changed from 2nd gear to 3rd too quickly while high in the rev range. The gear selection missed and I hit the rev limit for about a second. As this happened 3 warning lights came on, coolant fan, emergency brake and the battery light. I also noticed the supercharged led light was staying on permanently. I drove 2 miles back to the house.

The car drove fine, no strange noises, all the electrics worked and the battery needle was going down at all. I Disconnected the negative battery cable to see if If that would stop the lights from coming on but they were still present.

This morning when I drove to work, the lights are still showing but the car drove like any other time. The battery guage showed the needle 1 above the middle mark. Normally I guess its a little higher but I do not have a clue what the problem is.

Please help!

Okay, 1st. I ran mover some old railroad tracks, which i do daily going my route, but i hear something snap & grinding.. Here my exhaust mount broke and it's dragging on the ground. I Improvise with a close hanger :)

     2 Hours Later.....
I'm following my father to pick up my xbox (had the red ring of dead..) when he gasses it in his car. So i do the same to catch up when i hear this noise i've never heard come from my engine bay. It made this werid grinding noise like... Something was lose, If i'm driving and i have my RPM's above like, 4k It like, Messes up. It looses power but still somewhat gains speed, like, I feel if i try to drive it hard it will fall out. I'm really scared cause im borrowing money to pay for my bills, the one's the Military doesnt pay. And i'm worried My Tranny or something major is falling apart. Another thing that might help, or could be causing the problem which im not sure it might have been, I havn't replaced the oil in perhaps 7k Miles. I just don't have money to spare... At all.
Sorry if this is a grammar catastrophe, i'm doing it in a rush to leave. So, any advice or anything at all, i'm willing to listen. Please :)
Also, Thank You in advance, i've had many problems as some of you might remeber when i 1st bough my baby = /

Replace SC Twin Exhaust Pipes

I have an '88 SC, and for years I had a freeflow exhaust. Eventually it was time to replace it, which I was happy to do because I had gotten tired of the noise (i.e too loud). So, I decided to just install a stock replacement. However, this new exhaust has two tiny outlet pipes that really look stupid.

So, could I get these cut off and replaced with a single bigger pipe?.

Also, would the single pipe improve the sound any (I would like it to be a little more throaty:-)?
