'93 Car Sways at 45mph+ and clunking

I have a 1993 NA MKII that has moderate to severe swerving (swaying might be a better word) while driving in a straight line anywhere from 40-45 mph through top speed. I've replaced:

Struts (Koni Yellows)
Springs (Eibach Pro-kit)
Strut rod bushings (chassis to strut rod, strut rod to control arm) (Prothane)
Rear swaybar bushings and brackets (Prothane and OEM)

I've also had an alignment done and have the following values:

LF
Camber -.9
Caster 3.2
Toe .07

RF
Camber -.06
Caster 3.2
Toe .03

Cross Camber-.2
Cross Caster 0
Total Toe .10
Set Back .24

LR
Camber -1.4
Toe .33

RR
Camber -1.5
Toe .31

Total Toe .64
Thrust angle .01

I'm fairly certain the sway is in the rear, as I feel it most in the seat and the wheel has no movement (though it is 1-2 degrees to the right when driving straight) during the swaying. I don't think it's a wheel bearing, since I don't hear anything, but I do hear a severe clunking noise coming from the rear, which I suspect is a strut mount. I also get a similar if not the same clunk when shifting from odd rpms or with less precise clutch work.

Summary: Why am I swaying and what's that clunk?

Thanks for any help

Cheap how to replace rear under arm braces

Ive seen some of the stuff on horsepower.com and saw what they did to replace the underarm bracers. Ive decided to do it and take pictures for the hell of it and to show some mr2 folks how to do it yourself. As you know these under arm bracers rot out on mine well they were baaaaad.
Image: http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/4740/cimg0721h.jpg
As you can see mine were almost missing so i went to home depot and i found some steel conduit piping for 6 bucks and a can of gloss black spray paint for 97 cents and i picked it up.
Image: http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/2903/cimg0730.jpg
lucky me i picked up this little truck last saturday for my daily to start the mr2 build/project but anyways i measured the pipes with the underarm bracers.... well what was left of the one
Image: http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/1707/cimg0722.jpg
Image: http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/472/cimg0723.jpg
and i cut them to length. Next thing is you wanna get a hammer for me i used a dead blow hammer and smashed the ends in flipping the steel tube every 2 or 3 hits with the hammer
Image: http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/2636/cimg0724.jpg
Next i marked the holes with the old bracer support and drilled em out
Image: http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/576/cimg0725.jpg
off topic but heres a picture of my buddys wheels off his old vw before i converted him to a is300 this is how i feel about v dubs
Image: http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/3716/cimg0726.jpg
next i scuffed them up with a wire brush so the paint would get a nice clean stick. make sure to wear saftey goggles on this one i almost learned the hard way
Image: http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/5241/cimg0727hd.jpg
next i painted them
Image: http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/959/cimg0729.jpg
heres the finished product. now you can slap em on theyll form shape when you bolt them down
Image: http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/2218/cimg0733.jpg
now your all set
Image: http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/6646/cimg0734.jpg
So in the long run with an hour of labor i spent 7 dollers and 20 cents on these. Not sure what toyota would charge but its probably in the 40 doller range who knows maybe 80. Hope this helps some of you with rotted out bracers.

Hi, I have a 91 sw20 with a gen 2 with 150000 miles on it and i think the turbo bearing went cuz when i get on it and boost gets to half and then starts to screech and snd stops building boost. my question is should i rebuild the turbo and do some mods or should i swap for a gen 3. my goal is to have a nice street machine that retains lots of stock but is not necessarily a daily driver. I want to make numbers in the horsepower range of 300-325. What would I have to do to my gen 2 price and parts wise? Same with getting a 3rd gen that i found for $2,500.

symptom;

Turn dipped headlights on and my full beams come on, and the full beam indicator light on the dash illuminates, through out this I do not get dipped beams.

What I have tested:

Checked fuses, all ok
Bridged the relay, still the same
checked voltages at the bulb holders, ok
checked the bulbs, ok
changed over the stalk, still the same problem ( unless the other stalk i have also is faulty, which is unlikely)

Now, I did buy a replacement stalk from an earlier revision mr2, still the same problem. I even stripped down the indicator stalk and fitted it to my whole unit and the same problem also. Unless the stalk was also faulty which I do not believe it is, there must be another problem. Would a bad earth do this do you think?

heres the wiring diagram, its for the US model but I suspect its the same. unless someone has a JDM wiring diagram for the headlights?

Ok so now coolant is leaking from somewhere underneat the car I removed all the covers under the car to pinpoint where its leaking from but no luck. this is a non turbo if that helps. My question is are there any places where its more likely to leak from?

I have a 94 MR2 with premium sound. I have read on here that the Metra 8112 harness will be what I need to install and aftermarket head unit. I bought it, sure enough, it plugs in, but it doesn't work. I tested the stereo by hooking power and ground directly to the battery and the power comes on, so I know the stereo is OK. I have jacked with that stupid harness for an hour trying every possible combination of wiring and nothing works. I've installed numerous stereos, but I am at a loss... Any suggestions before I hang my head in disgrace and take it to a shop?
