Crappy, I hope you get your money back. I personally wouldn't buy attempt to buy a car with no more info than the seller had on that car. No pics, no sale, (especially with only one feedback) and even then you have to make sure they are not simply copied from another auction. Posting their email in the auction listing is another big tip-off that I've seen on most of the scam auctions. Post ads of cars you may interested in and get a 2nd opinion. Who knows, we probably have someone local who could go see it for you. By the way, there is no records on that car with Carfax since 2003 and it did have a salvage title from before. Good luck.

Paypal is pretty cool about giving back your money. Paypal takes offense when you credit card block though. Not sure how that is going to hose things up with your refund from paypal. They also tend to lock your accout on paypal when you credit card block. You can still use paypal to purchase, but any funds that come from your sales get held until they are happy.

Wow! You have my sympathy for the inconvenience. I came across this and had a gut feeling this was a scam. You have to post pics of a car you're selling, especially on eBay.

Why haven't you given him bad feedback on eBay?

Paypal got my $300 deposit back so no harm done other than a bruised ego. Seller now has a very negative feedback.
Thanks all. |
