DSCLAIMER: I'm doing as I was told by the moderator and no hard feelings but I still haven't gotten my money back yet and it'll be a month saturday
(03/03/07).

So I first PM'ed this guy about his HKS Hi-Flow muffler system I saw that he had forsale about the 26th of January. He varifies that it's still availible and we then proceed to work out shipping. I tell him for that item shipped to me due to it's estimated weight and size should be around 50-69bucks. OK,cool,no problem and varifies it via: USPS.com so for now things are good. I then let him know a few days later (feb 1st) that I have the money and ready to paypal it to him ($350.00 SHIPPED). At the time it's still presumed that the shipping should not change. I'm under the impression that if there are any problems I should know in a few days so they could be straightend out. I send the money that same day and PM him that I did so and he tells me he'll let me know when he recieves the money. He lets me know that money has not cleared in his paypal account yet. Also that he will not ship until it does so I'm like,fine,whatever I guess I understand. Eventhough when paypal tells you your money is on the way you're gonna get it no matter what. Anyway, So on the 9th or 10th(I'm stationed in Guam so we're about 16 hours ahead of you) I recieve a PM reply from the one I sent him from him saying"Just like i told you last time i talk to you, im shipping it on my next day off which is thursday. If magically i dont go to class or work before then, i'll let you know.". Now the funny thing is the money cleared on the 6th so this is four days after it's cleared and still nothing. Ontop of the fact that I was nice enough to wait till the paypal transaction cleared for whatever reason. Four days later I send him a PM saying"But I'm wondering when you'll have time to ship my exhuast to me as I did pay for it. I think that in all fairness a seller should be doing everything in their power to make sure the buyer is a happy one. Yes, I also know I am some hours ahead of you (about 16) but as I told you before I'm waiting on this along with a few other parts. However,it's important that I get all this within a certain amount of time. I also know that by the time you get this it will be monday there as it will be tuesday here. But I would really appriciate it if you can get it out the door sometime this week because I still have to wait an additional week for the actual shipping. If you're having issues making it to the post office let me know." He says"
I have let you know. I told you my schedule exactly. Im telling you the same thing now that i told you a 4 days ago.

If you had a specific timeframe you needed this shipped in you should have asked before you sent payment.

I requested off tomorrow for a doctor appointment with my neurologist. Ill try to get it shipped tomorrow. I work full time and go to school.

Im going to go ahead and say you're seriously annoying me with this. There is simply nothing i can do until my day off. Be patient."

So as you can imagine at this point I'm a bit confused,angry,and nervous all at the same time. I have paid for a part that hasn't even shipped going on two three weeks later and have no idea what to expect. So I said "Like I said "not to sound like an ass" and if shipping was going to be an issue you should have informed me ahead of time. Not two, three days AFTER I sent payment. Just let me know I suppose I can give it another week or two. Pardon me for "annoying" you as I'm trying to be as professional about this as possible. I respected your request to wait a week for the paypal (wich was going to show up in your account reguardless) to clear. Now I'm simply asking the same from you." and he replies "I've bought and sold every single aftermarket part that i purchased for my last MR2 product, and they didnt seem to have an issue with the fact i go to school and work full time. Sorry.

Ill get it out to you as soon as i can."
at this point things are starting to go downhill. But wait there's more... I get fed up and I sent him this"As of next saturday (your time) sunday for me it will be three weeks since the payment has cleared and I have paid you for the exhuast system. Ok, I can understand busy for a few days and whatever. However I cannot see waiting a month just to get something shipped my way not to mention the additional week or two for it to get to me. To me that's just rediculous and no seller I have ever delt with has had that much of a problem making it to the post office. So it's simple if you can't get it shipped my way by next saturday your time. Just send me my money back and I'll go elsewhere. I appologize for being a concerned buyer but this is rediculous. I will leave you positive feedback still and no hard feelings but I have to get things done. I cannot allow anymore time then that because at that rate I'd be better off going elsewhere or waiting for another deal. If you can't for whatever reason refund my money then I guess you better get on it quick cause I don't know what else to do. I feel I have been more then patient with you and really I don't think you're making a true effort on you end to do so. But that's just me and if somehow it's already on it's way then send me my tracking number and disregard this PM." Ironically I get this PM reply "Okay "guy", i shipped your exhaust yesterday on my lunch break, im waiting for the email which will give me my conformation number. Ill forward it to you when i recieve it.

Thanks for being so patient."


So as soon as I think things are getting taking care of then I get this PM"So guess what?

I got a call from my shipper today. (good friend of mine). He didnt ship my exhaust. You know why?

He wanted to call and make sure the $350 dollars its going to cost to send this 50lb 46x24x8 package to Guam is okay. Well its not.

So youre going to either have to paypal me $350, or my next paycheck ill refund your money.

Thanks."
Now at this point I'm like ok,whatever no biggy just send me my money back that you SHOULD still have since you have not yet sent me my exhuast,right ?...NOT !

Since then he has attemptend to sell the system AGAIN in an attempt to get my money back. He tells me that he "doesn't have it and wont till whenever the ****".He also says to not contact him till money is sent (whenever that is). Then his says he'll pay me back on his payday and this was last week . So I take matter into my own hands to try to save my own ass from losing out. I take out a paypal claim and alert the mods in the forsale section. Needless to say I still have no money or part and it's not March 1st where I am and yeah.....

That is correct, we did ask him to post the thread here. As has been stated in the Marketplace Guidelines, we take an extremely strict stance on marketplace issues. We think stuff like this needs to be resolved as quickly as possible. From our initial investigation, we stronly agree that the buyer in question should have recieved a refund at this point, considering the item never shipped. Mekkahfire's account has been locked down to the feedback forum until this issue has been resolved. Our recommendation to the buyer is to file the claim with Paypal before the option to do so expires. We see no excuse for the seller not refunding the buyer and he should resolve this matter immediately.

It's only cool if he has money in his paypal account. If not all paypal will do is freeze that account so he can't conduct any further business until it's settled.

OP: Sucks that it happened man, but make sure to always pay by credit card, at least then you can get your money back for a fraudulent purchase or something almost immediately.

It's tough to go to school full time and work full time...I work 40 hrs/week alongside taking 14 science credits and 3 for lab research...I was busy like hell but you now what...you only go to school 5 days a week, so even if you work the weekends you still have half the day on saturdays...

It's also quite hard to believe that in 3-4 weeks that he didn't have ANY days off to go to the post office. Sure the wait may suck but at most (meaning during christmas/holiday season) i've waited 40 minutes AT MOST. If at UPS, DHL, etc that time frame is much shorter.

Anyways...OP I hope everything works out for you man.

I find it hard to belive this a$$hole doesnt have a moment to stop by the local ups store....on his way to school or home or on his break or have his frickin mom do it..

sue him ..take him to small claims court or at least threaten him with it...call him everyday until he pays...go to his house to get your money back...ask for something as collateral.

give me his number I'll call him everyday if you like.

do something and make this weasel pay!!!

this is theft plain and simple

With my schedule, not being able to go to the post office is a reality, however, I've clearly stated that on multiple occasions and I turn down any payments until I know I can go. I know he's not a dishonest guy, so we don't need to bandwagon here, but he definitely needs to take care of this quickly.

I just read this guys profile..it turns out he works at a strip club down the street from one of my offices in ohio.

its called the Gold Fox..I have a few connections at that club.

plus theres more personal info on his profile that can be used to pinpoint him and his place of employment..

and his myspace displays his real name

it should be real easy to get your money back.

Goodluck on getting your item, or your money back. Even if stuff came up to where he couldn't ship it for a month or 2, he should of contacted you and you two worked it out on what wanted to be done (I am guessing refund till rdy to ship).

Well about this confusion too, I know the guy pretty well.
I bought a new turbo and xs power piping. And everything was goood and i got both good prices for them. But this was 4 months ago.
He may find it a diffrent view as your point and somthing may have happend.
Im not saying your lieing Im saying this guy isnt all bad as you think he is
but this was back then and i havnt been on for a while because of some personal issues.

I sold the kid the exhaust. I could tell straight off that he was clearly in a hot-hurry to get this thing, so my next schedule from work i requested a thursday off. I believe it was sold on money, or something like that.

First off, i didnt even ask, he just goes out and says "shipping wont cost anymore than 50 bucks so here's 50 dollars, kay thanks just ship it payment sent."

Im like.. Okay..

So about 5-6 hours pass since he paypaled me.
"Did you ship it yet"
"Kid. Its been like 6 hours. I'll contact you with a shipping number."
*The next day*
"omg did you ship it yet?"
"..I told you id contact you"
*The next day*
"WTF why havnt you shipped it yet"
"LISTEN when i talk to you, i told you EXACTLY what day i was shipping it."
*2 days later*
"If youre scamming me im gunna tell paypal and etc etc"

The day before my day off, i got seriously sick. I was in bed for about 3 days, and had to deal with PMs of him telling me i was scamming him, and i had to reassure him like 20 times that im not a ****ing scammer.

Undersanably, i dedicate my NEXT workday off to shipping his exhaust first thing in the morning. EVERY-SINGLE-DAY leading up to this, he sends me PM's telling me im a scammer, and after i tell him im not, he sends me another PM "did you ship it?" and other goofy crap like that.

So i finally said **** it, took it to my shipper BEFORE work, dropped it off, and told him to just charge me and ill pay it later (Hes a good friend of mine)

...I PM this to "blackbob".. and hes like "omg whoa okay sweet yeah"

I get a call later that day. Its my shipper. Oh hi shipper! Whats that? I'ts going to cost 300 DOLLARS to ship this package to GUAM where this kid lives?

Theres no way he didnt know that.

So i told him, and without even sounding suprised, hes like "okay gimme a refund."

I told him that i already pulled the money from my paypal account, and paid off a few things with it. I told him that hes going to have to wait until my next payday, and ill paypal it directly to him.

He obviously PMs me back, telling me im a scammer.

I explain to him that im not a Bank.. Im a normal person, and that he will have to wait until thursday.

EVERY.
SINGLE.
DAY.
Since then, he has PMed me, telling me that im scamming him, PMing other people tellling them that im a scammer, and opening paypal disputes, putting my paypal account into the NEGATIVES.

He wont listen. Period. To anything that you tell him. Its understandable to be nervous about this sort of thing--i would be too. But i asked him to trust me, or to just give it the amount of time that i claimed it would take. Instead, he pretends like i never said anything.

This is the most annoying **** i've ever delt with. If at all you can avoid him--do not do business of any kind with "blackbob".





Today is thursday, the DAY i told you i would refund you. You will see your refund in paypal today.

Is there a place we as sellers can post an e-trader rating for buyers???

Yeah man, as much as either of you might have been expecting too much out of each other or whatever, spending the money on an item that has not shipped and arrived at the buyer's location is a HUGE ****up.

Yeah we'l ive done this, we'l say, quite a few times.. And have never had this problem before.

He has a refund, i have a receipt of said refund (the exact day i told him i would send him a refund, oddly).

300? Thats where I know your going wrong. I can send a engine for that price. Plus if you werent going to ship it why wouldnt you take 4 minutes to refund the money. No time to go to the post office? Maybe you need to take a little time off of what your doing because that is plain out not healthy.

It takes over 3 weeks to ship something out and then even longer to refund...?

I do know that, because of this post I will never buy anything Mekkahfire is selling.

Blackbob has every right to be an annoying ****..you took his $$$ and gave him a bunch of excuses..about how your too busy and wah wah wah.

-you should have stated .."hey bro this is gonna take me a month to ship out because im very busy take it or leave it".

I would have showed up at your house or place of business and got my refund in person.
