i am not flaming him but just trying to point out that his actions here have been rather childish for what i would expect from a good shop. but i am also wondering if the trany issue is going to be resolved. whether it was already bad when he got it,then mr2guru needs to warranty it. or did speed street mess up when installing the swap.either way there has been a lot of questions asked and not answered.

stlmr2,

DID YOU REPLACE THE SHIFTER CABLES WHEN YOU DID THE SWAP!!!!????? I'm not sure why you keep ignoring this question. If not, then it is probably why you are experiencing problems while shifting.

Take a look at this thread:

I just wanted to update that we have spoken with Kelvin and discussed some things that may point him in the right direction to check for the transmission problem. If nothing else, the transmission is still under warranty so we should both be covered in any case. Kelvin, let us know if you figured anything out on that clutch.

After I read through this, I kinda have to side with mr2guru. They said they talked with the buyer and said what it was. They said it had a cut harness and they had a warrenty on the transmission. The buyer seemed to think that mr2guru was to do all the work and walk them through the install step by step. The seller sold the item to the buyer and described everything. If the buyer couldnt accept the fact that it was what it was then he shouldnt have bought it. I never personally dealt with the seller and have no experience with them but they were up front about everything.

I know that but the one guy just said he was ripped off so I was just throwin my opinion up there for the first one. If the new person who was saying to be scammed, I would have to hear what he had to say but he is just stating that he was ripped off with little details. So you see david, when someone who complains about something new about an old topic, I am just replying to them crying. Good enough?

Harry just hooked my friend up with a 5SFE, axle, clutch, and more. All for cheap. So cheap, it was cheaper to ship the car to Asheville to have the engine swapped in than to get it done here.
Careful of what you say. Karma is a bitch.
I know I have been on both sides.
